Superior Court Seeking Comments for Commissioner Spot

The Superior Court is requesting comments on applicants for a commissioner vacancy on its bench. The position became available upon the resignation of Hon. Kenneth Sanders, Division 51/C.

Court commissioners may work in either the Superior or Juvenile Court complex, and are assigned to cases involving family law, child support and enforcement, probate and guardianship, juvenile law, protection orders, and civil mental health matters.

The court’s commissioner selection committee will interview the following individuals on June 3, 2022, between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., in conference room 945 of the Superior Court building.

• M. June Harris, a Superior Court Hearing Officer in Pima County
• Reagen Kulseth, of the Law Office of Reagen Kulseth
• Kristin Schriner, of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office

The court invites your feedback in writing or verbally to a committee member. Anonymous comments will not be considered. Comments must be received no later than noon on May 31, 2022.

The committee will recommend the finalists to Superior Court Presiding Judge, Jeffrey T. Bergin, and Juvenile Court Presiding Judge, Peter W. Hochuli, who will make the appointment following final interviews on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
