Superior Court Accepting Applications for 2023 Volunteer Judges Pro Tempore

The Arizona Superior Court in Pima County is accepting applications from attorneys interested in serving as a volunteer Judge Pro Tempore in 2023.

Applications may be downloaded from the Court’s website (www.sc.pima.gov) > Jobs > Superior Court Job Opportunities > 2023 Term Volunteer Judge Pro Tempore.

Paper applications are available at the reception desk on the 9th floor of the Superior Court, and at Juvenile Court’s information desk. You may also e-mail or call to request an application [email protected], (please copy [email protected]) or (520) 724-4217.

(For those currently serving as judges pro tempore, thank you, and applications for reappointment are also available!)

Applications are due by Friday, February 17, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., and may be delivered to Presiding Judge Jeffrey Bergin - his office is on the 8th floor of the Superior Court building, located at 110 W. Congress in Tucson. 

You may also mail your completed application, along with your notarized loyalty oath, to: Hon. Jeffrey Bergin, Superior Court in Pima County, 110 W. Congress, 8th Floor, Tucson, 85701. (Please note that you cannot email your application and oath, as the Court must retain the originals.)
