ARIZONA SUPERIOR COURT HUMAN RESOURCES

Arizona Superior Court Human Resources encompasses Superior Court and Juvenile Court.  The Clerk of the Superior Court maintains its own Human Resources.

The Arizona Superior Court is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. We are committed to an inclusive and diverse workforce and will not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, kinship, political interest or any other characteristic protected by law. You may review a hard copy of the Arizona Superior Court in Pima County Equal Employment Opportunity Report (EEOP) at the reception desk on the 9th floor of the Superior Court, or by clicking on the page: Equal Employment Opportunity Report (EEOP) on the left.

Applicants who believe they have been subjected to discriminatory treatment on the basis of any of the above may file a complaint with the Human Resources Director by calling (520) 724-3850 or e-mailing to [email protected].

Physical evaluations, drug screening and extensive background checks may be conducted based on the requirements of the position.  All safety sensitive positions (including probation officer, surveillance officer and juvenile detention officers) must undergo psychological evaluations, physical evaluations, and drug screening.  A felony conviction is an automatic bar to employment.  Misdemeanor convictions are reviewed on a case by case basis and may be a bar to employment in some circumstances.

Court employees receive the same benefits as Pima County such as health, dental and vision coverage, generous vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, short- and long-term disability coverage for most positions, paid parental leave, retirement plans, life insurance, employer match to health savings contribution and various pre-tax saving opportunities.

Full-time employees of government organizations may be able to receive student loan forgiveness under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.  For more information click on the PUBLIC SERVICE LOAN FORGIVENESS button.

The court offers salary increase schedules for many positions. Additionally, shift differentials are available.  Please note -- the Court at its discretion may discontinue any advertised compensation program at any time.
