Effective February 9, 2025, Governor Katie Hobbs appointed the Honorable Nathan Wade to Division 14 of the Pima County Superior Court, filling the vacancy left by the retirement of Judge Renee T. Bennett. Prior to this appointment, Honorable Wade served as a Court Commissioner since 2023 and accumulated nine years of experience as a public defender for both Pima and Pinal counties.
In a statement, Governor Hobbs expressed her enthusiasm, saying, "I am thrilled to appoint him to the Pima County Superior Court where he will continue to serve the people of Arizona and bolster trust in our judicial system."
