Arizona Superior Court in Pima County

Two local attorneys have been recommended to Pima County Presiding Judge Jeffrey T. Bergin, one of whom will be chosen to fill a newly vacated Hearing Officer position on the Pima County Superior Court bench. The position became available due to the retirement of Hon. Lee Ann Roads.
Hearing Officers work as a judicial officer for the Superior Court, interpreting and applying local and state laws during various family law, civil, and criminal court proceedings.
Four candidates, after two of the six initially chosen applicants withdrew, were interviewed on July 24 by the Hearing Officer Selection Committee. The two attorneys selected for a final interview are:
• Domingo DeGrazia
• Michelle Metzger
